Filing Fee

The Amended Complaint option for the ILND Court Access Kiosk is intended for use in cases where the filing fee has already been resolved. (For example, by payment of the full filing fee or permission to proceed in forma pauperis.) You are therefore not required to provide any additional payment information at this time.

Application to Proceed Without Prepaying Fees or Costs / Financial Affidavit

If you are requesting an attorney, you will be required to scan and submit a completed application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP), so the Court can determine if you are able (or unable) to afford an attorney. This submission requires you to submit a completed IFP application form as well as a copy of your trust fund account statement for the last six months. The application must be signed by you and certified by an authorized jail or prison official. You will be required to scan and submit these materials before you proceed.

NOTE: If you already filed a motion for attorney representation in your case, and are waiting on a ruling from the judge, you do not need to re-submit another motion for attorney representation at this time.
